Three years after the first seed - July 2021 July 28, 2021 is the three-year anniversary of planting the first seed in our Community Learning Garden. Since then, we planted 44 of the 600 willow trees that we grew at the Garden. The trees were planted along the San Pedro River to help revegetate the site of the recent Margo fire near Dudleyville. In the last three years, friends and neighbors have planted seeds, installed a fence, won grant proposals, built the kids’ railroad, installed irrigation, built raised garden beds, built hoop houses, started a food forest, taught workshops and lots more. It's great to have mileposts like these in our lives. Thanks to everyone who has made and continues to make our garden all about learning and community! Please come visit any time.
